Tom's Inspiration:

It was a unique thing to have your own car turned into a model kit. It actually was customized three times with three different names: The Piranha, the Puma and finally, Monogram named it the "California Street Vette" in its final version. This car and I have been through many trips and many states together. I tell ya, that 454 rat motor would get so hot I could hardly hold the steering wheel! I still own the car and have restoration plans again for its future.

What's one of the most popular cars among custom stylists? The Corvette Stingray.
