The 2009 reissue of the classic 1/24 RED BARON plastic model kit is again "on the shelves" and now available in the TD Store as well!

Just received test shots from Revell-Monogram of the all-newly tooled 1:24 scale plastic Rommel's Rod AND Tijuana Taxi kits; and they look SUPER!

Though the finished kits were supposed to be here by now, latest word is that they will arrive this coming August, so STAY TUNED!

AND, for all you Hot Wheel's fans, I am working on the mechanical drawings for the all-new 'TD' Hot Wheel design Mattel will introduce with their upcoming 2010 line up.

YES! its true! Revell/Monogram has 5, count 'em, FIVE classic 'TD' plastic model kits in the works for re release in 2009! All-new and improved tooling for ROMMEL'S ROD; Ditto for the TIJUANA TAXI; the former Dragon Wagon/Hangman tooling is being retro'ed back to 'original' form and will (most likely) now be called the CIRCUS WAGON; the 'original' STREET FIGHTER - '60 Chevy panel ground pounder returns; and the remarkable RED BARON kit has already returned using my box art and packaging from the limited edition 'tin' box issue.

Yes! its also true that Mattel has committed to bring Hot Wheels collectors 2 all-new Tom Daniel Hot Wheels designs that will roll out in their 2010 line! Stay tuned for insider updates on this LONG awaited event!

In addition, we now have the Since '68 Collector Top 40 Hot Wheels set available in the TD Store's die cast section. This amazing set of 40 Hot Wheels comes in a special collector case with descriptions of each popular die cast--1 for each year to commemorate 40 years of Hot Wheels.

Though MOEBIUS will obviously NOT be producing the Rommel's Rod kit, the good folks at MOEBIUS are, however, strongly considering rolling out an 'exclusive' (as yet undetermined 'TD' design) to add to their growing line of high quality model kits. Stay tuned!

Due for first releases in 2009, Round-2 will introduce several 'TD' classic designs in electric 'slot racer' form including the S'COOL BUS, RAT VEGA and POISON PINTO. WILD!

For those who wish to see 'Tom Daniel' fine art works, Tom has been invited to exhibit 4 of his original oil paintings - all landscapes - at the Inaugural exhibition of the 'Kane County Artists 2008 Show and Sale' - from May 23 through July 31. The exhibit is located at the famed Maynard Dixon property in Mt. Carmel, Utah.
